segundo mayor productor mundial de salm\u00f3n del Atl\u00e1ntico (Salmo salar), especie de gran valor nutricional y relevancia estrat\u00e9gica para la seguridad alimentaria global. La actividad acu\u00edcola, especialmente en la Regi\u00f3n de Ays\u00e9n, tiene un impacto econ\u00f3mico, social y cient\u00edfico significativo. A ello se suma la falta de conocimiento sobre c\u00f3mo factores ambientales, incluidos la salinidad y la estacionalidad, afectan la salud del salm\u00f3n y la aptitud inmunitaria en la mucosa de la piel (tambi\u00e9n considerado tejido linfoide). Al comprender mejor c\u00f3mo influyen la salinidad y la estacionalidad en la salud de la mucosa de la piel del salm\u00f3n, se podr\u00e1n dise\u00f1ar estrategias de intervenci\u00f3n m\u00e1s adecuadas a la biolog\u00eda del pez y adaptadas al entorno, disminuyendo la dependencia de antiparasitarios. Adem\u00e1s, el proyecto entregar\u00e1 evidencia cient\u00edfica local que contribuir\u00e1 al desarrollo de soluciones contextualizadas, robustas y sostenibles, alineadas con los desaf\u00edos actuales de la industria acu\u00edcola. Finalmente, este trabajo tambi\u00e9n aportar\u00e1 a la formaci\u00f3n de capacidades cient\u00edficas avanzadas en inmunolog\u00eda de peces, biotecnolog\u00eda aplicada y an\u00e1lisis
