class=\"elementor-icon-box-description\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tLa industria de la construcci\u00f3n es responsable de una parte significativa de las emisiones globales de gases de efecto invernadero, principalmente debido al uso intensivo de materiales como el hormig\u00f3n y el acero. Frente a esta problem\u00e1tica, la madera masiva, en particular la madera contralaminada (CLT),  se presenta como una alternativa m\u00e1s sustentable, gracias a su origen renovable, su menor huella de carbono y sus propiedades t\u00e9rmicas. Pa\u00edses como Canad\u00e1 y varios en Europa ya han incorporado esta tecnolog\u00eda en edificaciones de mediana altura. En Chile, donde el pino radiata es una especie forestal ampliamente cultivada, existe un potencial considerable para su aplicaci\u00f3n. La falta de estudios locales validados ha dificultado el desarrollo de normativas y ha generado resistencia en la industria chilena a incorporar este material en edificaciones en altura. Las simulaciones se enfocan en analizar tanto la din\u00e1mica del incendio dentro de espacios habitacionales como la p\u00e9rdida de capacidad estructural de los elementos expuestos. Junto con ello, se construir\u00e1 un marco probabil\u00edstico que permita predecir el momento y las condiciones de falla de los elementos estructurales ante distintos escenarios de incendio. Comprender el comportamiento t\u00e9rmico y estructural de paneles de CLT fabricados con pino radiata chileno ante condiciones de incendio.<br><br>2. Desarrollar modelos computacionales multi-f\u00edsicos que capturen el acoplamiento fuego-estructura acoplados con ensayos experimentales para simular incendios en compartimientos t\u00edpicos.<br><br>3. Estimar la probabilidad de falla estructural de muros y losas en funci\u00f3n de par\u00e1metros como duraci\u00f3n del incendio y configuraci\u00f3n arquitect\u00f3nica.<br><br>4. Generar lineamientos pr\u00e1cticos y recomendaciones de dise\u00f1o aplicables a ingenieros, arquitectos y actores de la industria.<br><br>5. Al estudiar espec\u00edficamente el comportamiento del pino radiata, una especie ampliamente cultivada en el pa\u00eds, se promueve el uso eficiente de recursos locales y se fortalece la industria forestal nacional. Adem\u00e1s, el desarrollo de modelos predictivos y recomendaciones t\u00e9cnicas facilitar\u00e1 que arquitectos, ingenieros y dise\u00f1adores puedan adoptar esta tecnolog\u00eda con mayor seguridad, integrando criterios de protecci\u00f3n contra incendios desde las etapas tempranas del dise\u00f1o.
